Me? I’m male and 46. I like to read, draw, paint (poorly), watch movies, knit, crochet, cook, and I enjoy photography.
I love music, but what I like doesn’t fit well into any label. So…
Favorite artists: Emmylou Harris, Joni Mitchell, Jon Randall, Fleetwood Mac, Alison Krauss, Clannad, A Fine Frenzy, Jonathan Coulton, Heather Little, Sunny Sweeney, Stevie Nicks, Pat Benatar, Heart, Queen, Loreena McKennitt, Sarah MacLachlan, Gordon Lightfoot, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Tina Turner.
Favorite instruments (in no particular order): Tibetan bells (singing bowls), hammered dulcimer, Uileann pipes, and hurdy-gurdy.
I guess, if you sum it all up, I’m eclectic and weird. A haunted salad of interests, habits, and quirks.
I have also been referred to as a grammar Nazi (not to imply that misspelling is acceptable). I feel that we as a culture are bordering on illiterate, and think that’s okay. Yes, I know… progress blah blah, technology blah, information age blah blah blah. All those arguments don’t counter the fact that my cat spells better than some college students.
But I don’t bite. Often. So say hello.
